Dear Madison Community,

So much has happened in the last two weeks, and so much is coming as we approach the end of the year.   I hope all of you were able to enjoy the solar eclipse; it was truly a precious time to treasure. 

There are so many activities at the end of the year.  Please check with your children’s specific schools for the many activities that are happening.  We start awards season on Wednesday, April 24 with the Freshman Academic Awards at Madison High School at 6:00 p.m.  The Sophomore Academic Awards are April 30 and the Junior Awards are May 2.  Students being recognized will receive an official invitation. 

Every year, Madison Local Schools hosts two dances: our Father-Daughter Dance and our Son-VIP dance. These dances typically host 600-800 attendees per year, with all proceeds reinvested back into the Madison Community.

“These are huge events that bring our whole community together,” says Devin Artz, Intervention Specialist for Madison Schools and coordinator of the Father-Daughter Dance. “Through collaboration with many, many businesses in the community that sponsor our event annually, the funds raised have a large impact on services that can be provided to the children of Madison.”
