The Step Up to Quality and state licensing team visited our Madison Pre-K this week, and the team gave our Pre-K a five star rating.
Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) is a five–star quality rating and improvement system administered by the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. SUTQ recognizes and promotes learning and development programs that meet quality program standards that exceed licensing health and safety regulations. The program standards are based on national research identifying standards which lead to improved outcomes for children.
To obtain five stars is a team effort and a lot of documentation. Madison School District administrators would like to applaud the efforts of our entire Pre-K staff, who have met the requirements to receive the highest rating that can be awarded.
Also thanks to Jovette Hiltunen, our Pre-K director for all the work she put into making sure her staff was ready for the visit and had all the documentation in order. Congratulations once again to all for the outstanding work.
